Hi

I’m MacKenzie Cortez. I’ve spent the majority of my life in Nevada, and my heart is deeply rooted in this community. Over the past two years, I’ve been working in clinical settings providing psychotherapy, supporting individuals and couples as they navigate life’s challenges, heal from past wounds, and build more fulfilling lives and relationships. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, providing therapy under the guidance of a licensed clinical supervisor to ensure ethical, effective, and well-supported care.

 

I earned my undergraduate degree in social work, an MBA, and my master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Touro University. This combination of education and experience allows me to approach therapy with both a relational and practical lens—balancing empathy, insight, and real-world strategies to support meaningful change.

Outside of work, I value connection, growth, and balance—and I strive to bring that same care and presence into every session. My approach is collaborative and relational, and I aim to meet you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be.
